Dorcom have been successful in its business since 1974, over 35 years. In many cases electrical contractors come directly to us for advice so why not just use the Specialist in the first place, it makes sense and in the longer term saves you money.

Specialist Service Engineers

Our trained team are qualified and on hand to respond to reactive as well as planned maintenance responses. Not all electrical contractors understand the functionality of Security Systems. We can usually repair where others just tell you your system needs replacing.

Due to the nature of our business we are able to source parts and equipment with preferential times scales from suppliers directly at no extra cost to our customers.

If after a service visit, it is considered to advise a replacement system we will advise you and send a full written quotation free of charge. If the quotation is accepted we will deduct the service call charge from your final installation invoice.

Emergency Callout Number

An emergency number is provided for Rental Contract customers only after 5.00pm on Friday through to 8.00am on Monday by calling our main office number where you will be directed. The main aim of this facility is to make a situation safe, not to repair or replace equipment unless available. The service is chargeable and in the first instance you may like to look at your own in-house capability first i.e. is there a trades person available to make safe the problem.

Maintenance Agreement Contracts

(Contract term minimum three years. Terms and Conditions Apply)

We provide a fully inclusive maintenance agreement contract to ensure your equipment operates reliably all year round and you need not worry about a surprise cost for a part that may be needed throughout the year. Both new and old systems will benefit from this option as it offers peace of mind at a reasonable price. There is no better way of looking after your investment. Should your system ever have a problem, we will be on hand to resolve the issue swiftly and professionally, with no hidden costs. Older systems are subject to survey in the first instance and must meet our minimum standard for this contract to take effect.

Included in the Agreement is;

1.Two fully planned Maintenance visits per Annum

2.All inclusive parts and labour (Excluding vandalism and acts of God)

Service Agreement Contracts

(Contract term minimum three years. Terms and Conditions Apply)

We provide two planned preventative maintenance visits per annum where we fully test, clean and adjust all the equipment that is covered under the service contract. Any replacement parts required or repairs deemed necessary during the maintenance visit will be reported back to the subscriber and a full written quotation will follow detailing the faults that we have identified as needing rectification. No work is undertaken without the express permission of the subscriber in writing.

Included in the Agreement is;

1. Two Preventative maintenance visits per annum.

2. A full written report following on from the above visits, if required.

Our free surveys within BN postcode area, guarantee we do not just turn up cold to a job for which we have quoted. You will have received a full written quotation before hand to which you can make as many alterations or amendments before placing your final order with us.

Installation Deposits

With the exception of Schools and Colleges we would normally request a deposit. If this is applicable it will be contained within our quotation. Our sales team will contact you to finalise how you wish to make your deposit payment.

Manufacture and Suppliers

Because we have established working relationships with manufacturers and suppliers, we are normally able to get equipment and parts within one working day of a confirmed order being received, providing it is before 3.00pm that day. (This excludes Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays whereby most manufacturers and suppliers of specialist equipment are closed).

Although we located on the South Coast UK, we can supply complete, or part, systems to the trade Locally, Nationally and Internationally at very completive process. Trade and Public Sales

At our showroom in Shoreham By Sea, we have set up a Trade Sales Counter. We can supply most spares and components for most manufacturers of electronic security systems. If we do not have the part in stock, we can normally have it delivered to us or to your preferred address within one standard working day, depending on the time that the order is received.

Technical Advice

We never leave our customers high and dry having preferential access to all our suppliers’ technical teams. If you have purchased through us we will do our best to address your issues, please do not phone us on behalf of another installer or if you are a tradesman who has just got stuck on a paid job for someone else

Customer Service

The customer service desk is manned by friendly staff accepting calls from any Company, Residents Association, Managing Agent, Property Management Company or any member of the trade or public requiring our help and assistance. From booking a service call to arranging a site survey we are here to help.

Showroom

At our showroom in Shoreham By Sea, West Sussex we can arrange, by appointment, demonstrations of our IP CCTV systems and have a large range of door entry systems on display.
